Spring 2024

By this point I'd been experiencing quite a bit of hand and wrist pain while working. I mostly tried to push through, rest when I could and sleep in a compression glove. Crocheting and knitting> had become such an integral point to my mental wellbeing and art practise I was reluctant to stop or slow at all. I applied and got into a local residency for these fibre works when I'd been rejected for multiple times in the past for my illustrative work. While I was very excited I knew I'd have to prioritize my hand a wrist health if I was going to be able to make anything decent in this opportunity. As a result these little guys came out a bit uninspired and weren't received super well.
